Timothy is a Culinary Institute of America Alumni with a love for people, food, and events. He spent time in Colorado as Banquet Captain, then found his way to Virginia to work as a Fresh Foods Manager in Grocery Retail, and transitioned to be a part of the FLIK team as of the summer of 2021.
When not at work, I find myself focused on my daughter and wife (who also works for FLIK) and our two cats. When I'm not dreaming of our next Royal Caribbean Cruise, I am training for my next triathlon, love cooking with friends, a movie theater fanatic, a bourbon aficionado, and I generally find myself spending a fair amount of time eating! There is truly nothing better in life than great food and good company, and I look forward to sharing that with everyone.

Tiffany Francis joins the Flik Hospitality Team at Leidos HQ as the Director of Catering. With over 15 years of catering sales and events management experience, Tiffany's extensive background in restaurants and hotels includes all facets of day-to-day event details, logistics, vendor relations, budgets, operations, and staff management. Her attention to detail, dependability and desire to foster strong relationships, will make it easy for her to provide superior service and acquire your trust. Good at wearing multiple hats, Tiffany is adept at responding quickly to changing circumstances, while always maintaining an upbeat, can-do attitude!
When she's not planning events, Tiffany enjoys traveling and exploring new restaurants; but most importantly spending time with her family and friends- Creating memories and experiences that will last a lifetime!
Gene Sohn, a native of Washington DC started as a dishwasher while in school and working his way up the brigade system, he turned down an Ivy League education to pursue life in the kitchen. With over 25 years of restaurant experience, mostly in fine dining working with Michelin starred chefs such as Michel Richard and Robert Weidmaier he has learned the artistry and craftsmanship that is needed in the kitchen. Gene has spent the last several years on the West Coast discovering and exploring new food ideas and trends. From Michelin to Mac n Cheese he has been able to hone his skills. He also loves to surf and spend time with his German Shepherd “Gary”
Gordon is a Hospitality Professional with a degree in Hospitality Business Management from UMBC and brings a wealth of experience to the FLIK and Leidos team. After school, he worked in Beverage Management in Washington D.C, then transitioned into Food and Beverage Management with Hilton Hotels. He then moved into Fresh Foods Management for Harris Teeter as well as managing an exclusive nightclub in Washington D.C., and now has joined the FLIK Hospitality Team.
As Assistant General Manager at Leidos HQ, Gordon will oversee the Fuel Café, as well as assisting Tim Fisher in general operations and catered events.
When not working, Gordon loves to get out to the beach as much as possible. Finding time to get on the Billy Goat trail for runs and hiking around the area is a highlight as well. A true foodie, Gordon has been working his way through every Korean BBQ and Hotpot location in the DMV. When not eating or working, he can be sure to be found watching any professional sport in season and is well versed on all things sports!

Nathan joins us from the FLIK Starbucks in Tyson's Corner. He brings a wealth of coffee knowledge to share with guests while preparing their favorite drinks.

I enjoy spending time at the gym or just hanging out with my dog Koda. I’ve enjoyed my time at Leidos learning the different departments and staff that help make Leidos as great as it is. I hope to see myself grow with Leidos and Flik for many years to come.
Elsi is from Ethiopia, she came to the US 15 years ago and has worked for FLIK for 9 of those years, you may recognize her from SAIC. She is into Movies, Wine and Restaurants, she loves to be with friends and family.

Marco Romero is a self-taught cook with over 20 years of experience. His passion for cooking has led to much curiosity and creativity in the kitchen. With dedication and willingness to experiment, Marco now enjoys creating delicious and memorable meals that will bring people together. He is constantly learning and seeking inspiration from other cooks and chefs.Knowing that he can cook meals that will be enjoyable by many is incredibly rewarding to him.

My name is Leonel Sandoval, I grew up in El Salvador then I moved to the United States in 2002. I was 18 years old and one of the first things I did, I went to school to learn English. I've worked for Compass for the last 20 years, I like the opportunities it has given me, I enjoy the work and being part of an amazing team. My name is Yolanda Martinez, I was born in El Salvador, and I came to the United States when I was 15 years old. I am happily married, I have 5 wonderful children, four boys and one girl. I work in the kitchen, and I enjoy what I do.
