    From his early training at the legendary CityZen under the mentorship of James Beard Award-winning Chef Eric Ziebold, Jonathan’s career has been defined by an unwavering commitment to culinary excellence and ethical, local farming. During his tenure, CityZen was a beacon of fine dining, earning the prestigious AAA 5-Diamond award and a Mobil 4-Star rating. A graduate of Johnson & Wales, Jonathan’s diverse expertise spans every facet of the industry, from owning a successful bagel shop and deli to serving as a strategic consultant and mentor to rising talent.

    His technical precision and artistry were further refined at some of the nation’s most esteemed Michelin-recognized establishments. His portfolio includes experience at the Michelin-starred Rebelle in New York City, the Michelin-starred Plume at The Jefferson Hotel in D.C., and the Michelin Bib Gourmand recipient Hazel. These high-pressure, world-class environments solidified his reputation for high-caliber craft and creative vision.
    While his professional accolades are extensive, Jonathan’s greatest inspiration remains his four-year-old daughter. As a proud father, he balances the fast-paced energy of the kitchen with a deep devotion to family life. When he isn't developing new menus or sourcing local ingredients, you will likely find him at a concert, on the golf course, or enjoying quality time with his closest friends and family.​​​​

    Jacob Bare

    Jacob Bare was born & raised in York County, PA. He enrolled at Penn State University in 2013 and has a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management. He began his career in the culinary field as an intern at the Penn Stater Conference Center & Hotel and moved into his first food service manager role in Columbus, OH in 2017 with Aramark Food Service.

    During his career with Aramark, he worked in multiple roles such as executive chef, food service director, & general manager. These positions allowed him to travel across the United States and experience a wide multitude of onsite food service establishments. In December of 2023, Jacob decided to move back home and start his new career at Eurofins with FLIK Hospitality. 

    In his free time, Jacob enjoys outdoor activities such as golf & basketball. He also enjoys hiking and fishing with his friends and family. When he’s at home, you can usually find him reading comics on his back patio or hanging out on the couch with his cat Sanji.
