Ask The RD
  • Sydney believes in a holistic, whole-foods approach to healing.  Food is physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually impactful to every human.  As a dietitian, she grows in her understanding and application of food as medicine to foster a healthier public. Sydney is gracious for her mother's words of wisdom, urging her to explore food and wellness as a career in an increasingly sickly world.  Raised in a home that valued the natural, curative powers of whole foods, local ingredients, shared family meals, and connectedness around the table she seeks to promulgate the message of food as natural medicine to larger communities.

Sydney has worked in both clinical and corporate wellness settings for the past 3.5 years.  She obtained a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences/Dietetics from Penn State University, completed her dietetic internship at Bastyr University in Seattle, and obtained a M.S. in Integrative & Functional Nutrition from Saybrook University. Sydney joined FLIK in October, 2018.
