Dana’s deep commitment to helping others through food and lifestyle changes inspired her to become a dietitian, understanding the significant role nutrition plays in overall well-being. She earned both her undergraduate and master’s degrees in nutrition before moving to Chicago, where she completed her dietetic internship.
Dana began her career at a non-profit organization, providing nutrition counseling to underserved communities. While she values the personal connection of one-on-one counseling, she has enjoyed expanding her impact with FLIK by leading lunch and learns, cooking classes, and wellness programs that help others make informed, well-balanced food choices.
In her free time, Dana loves to experiment with new recipes, explore different workout classes, care for her cat Fancy, and tends to her plants.
Please reach out to Dana if you have any questions about wellness offerings, need some nutrition-related encouragement, or if you would like to recreate one of our delicious recipes at home.
